Wolves
I'm shocked that this post hasn't been made yet. Wolves were unknowingly one of the bands that got me out of the if-it-doesn't-sound-like-Have-Heart-it-sucks phase I went through when I first discovered hardcore punk music. That's probably the most uncool thing I could've posted. Whatever.
Wolves were started by people that were previously in Orchid amongst others. More of an early-Hot Cross thing going on though. You can tell it's less influenced by aggression. Think along the lines of bands like Unwound, Hoover, or Shotmaker.
Bonus points for having mindful lyrics;
"Our revolution will take time back.
Our reality will be found in our desires to take everything back."
